In 2020, we partnered Lee Kong Chian school of medicine from Project Kolkata. They conducted a health workshop for daughters of tomorrow, to a group of women on pertinent issues and provide them with basic knowledge on women’s health. They covered topics like menstrual health, menopause, osteoporosis, sexually transmitted disease and general well being.
In 2021, we continued to partner Lee Kong Chian school of medicine from Project Kolkata, supporting Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls, which includes young women who are victims of abuse, coming from dysfunctional families or in conflict with the law.
Due to covid, they conducted an online health workshop for these girls on similar pertinent issues and provide them with basic knowledge on women’s health on topics like menstrual health, contraception, and sexually transmitted diseases. Topics that were also covered were general health including nutrition, mental health and healthy habits.
For the past two sessions, it was fully subscribed and the workshop was highly successful. We are glad to play a small part in helping the community needs and will continue to do more in the coming years ahead.
We partnered YMCA Singapore this year (2023) and helped to spread the word of Good Gut Health through YMCA Children open house, to families and children by sponsoring our probiotics so everyone can have a Go at better digestive health. We are also thankful to YMCA to include us in helping the special needs to conquer heights on their climb to Mt Fuji inclusive challenge 2023.
